From the moment Matt Hundley played his first bar at the age of 12, he knew that making country music was what he was meant to do. Raised in a small logging town in the Pacific Northwest mountains, he grew up surrounded by the sounds of  country, gospel, and bluegrass. His parents owned the town's country store, and local musicians would sit around the fireplace inside picking traditional tunes for hours, exposing him to the styles of music that would shape his sound and career. He began taking lessons from neighbors, paying his way working on farms and commercial fishing, and eventually joined the National Guard as a combat medic to pay for music school. He played for some time with a country gospel band in San Antonio, Texas, then began touring the honky tonks of the western US. Matt eventually made the inevitable decision to move to Nashville in 2015. He threw himself into songwriting, soon getting his first cut, "Like My Whiskey", sung by Jessie G and Gretchen Wilson. Matt's writing continued to evolve, reflecting the experiences of life on the road and the sometimes-crazy life in Music City. As he established himself in Nashville, he began to tour the country both as a solo artist and as a fiddler for other bands, exposing him to new fans from coast to coast. In late 2017, after two years of touring full-time, he is preparing the release of his upcoming single, "Drinking Alone", accompanied by a nationwide radio tour. The fiddle and steel tracks are blended with the cutting edge beat and relevant lyrics, creating a true country song that blazes across listening demographics, and is set to impact the country music world in early 2018.
